  Solicit (verb)

  ●To ask for or try to obtain (something) from someone.(索求,徵求)

  Examples:

  1.He called a meeting to solicit their views.

  2.It is illegal for public officials to solicit gifts or money in exchange for favours.

  Subject to sth (idiom)

  ●Under the condition that…(以…為條件,取決於…)

  Examples:

  1.We accept, subject to his agreement.  The terms of the contract are subject to a further review.

  Have no concern with sb/sth (phrase)

  ●Have nothing to do with someone or something.(與…毫無關係/毫不相干)

  Examples:

  1.Whatever you may say, I have no concern with that.

  2.The drama seemed to have no concern with "truth" at all.

  Make (both) ends meet (idiom)

  ●To have enough money to pay for basic expenses.(收支平衡,收支相抵)

  Examples:

  1.To make ends meet, she runs a day-care center out of her home.

  2.Through better budgeting, I am learning to make both ends meet.

  Speak up (phrasal verb)

  ●To speak loudly and distinctly.(大聲說出,大膽說出)

  Examples:

  1.If you have any complaint , don't just sulk ; speak up.

  2.If you thought that wasn't fair, why didn't you speak up?
