撰文之時，牛頭角工廈迷你倉的四級大火仍未被救熄，新聞報道更指有多一名消防員殉職。火場四周都充斥?大火燃燒物件的味道，而身處火場附近的天橋也可以感受到大火的熱力（"The smell of burning was everywhere and heat could be felt from a nearby footbridge overlooking the blaze."）"blaze"於上文所指的是大火。

　　有報道指調查這次迷你倉大火的焦點將會放到起火原因、消防員殉職的原因以及於工廈救火的策略（"probe will focus on the cause of the blaze, the death of firefighters and the tactics used to fight the fire in industrial building."）。筆者希望大火會盡快被救熄，再無人命損失。

　　提及blaze，筆者想談談"blaze of trail"。

　　"blaze of trail"有開拓新路或作模範的意思。要減少空氣污染不僅是特區政府要處理的事，亞洲其他地方也出力改善空氣質素。

　　越南最大的的士公司計劃於未來十年替換一萬輛汽油的士，以減少污染和減少用汽油量。公司表示希望可以在電動的士這方面創先河，並已於本月從法國引入零排放的士，正式於越南首都河內展開這個項目（"The company wants to blaze a trail with the electric taxis and imported zero emission taxis from France to kick the project off in Hanoi."）。引入電動車可以做到路面零排放，較能保障人體健康。然而，各地方仍需要推出其他措施配合，以收改善整體空氣質素之效。
