本以為春天要來臨，可是，在上月底的周日，香港卻錄得入冬以來最低的溫度。這道冷鋒令多人到醫院求診，有報章用 "Cold snap sends Hongkongers to hospitals as temperatures hit new low" 為標題。

　　"hit" 於上述例子所指的是到達。上月底，旅發局表示香港再次成為全球最多人到訪的地方。要保持吸引力，也就是說要為旅客帶來獨特的體驗，要吸引來自韓國，菲律賓及泰國等地的旅客。2016年的數據顯示，來自這些地方的訪港人數創下歷史新高（"The aim is to attract markets, such as South Korea, the Philippines and Thailand, which all hit a record high in 2016."）

　　提及 "hit"，筆者想談談 "hit out"。"hit out" 有嚴厲批評或猛烈抨擊的意思。去年審計署的一份報告指出負責管理本地大學事宜機關的管治欠佳，而較早前立法會一事務委員會就有關報告內容嚴厲批評這個機關（"A Legislative Council panel has hit out at the poor governance of the government's university affairs body, which was exposed in an Audit Commission report last year."）

　　另外，教育局局長上月底表示任期屆滿後將退休，局長回顧過去五年工作，抨擊視他為引入國教幕後主腦的指責（"The Education Bureau head looked back at his past five years in the post and hit out at critics who blamed him for being the mastermind of plans to introduce national education."）

　　這陣子的天氣乍暖還寒，身邊不少友人都病倒了，大家要小心身體。
