Refer to sth (phrasal verb)

●To pertain to something or someone; concern something or someone.(適用於,指的是)

Examples:  

1.I have a question referring to yesterday's lecture.  

2.The new salary scale only refers to company managers and directors.

Lift sth up (phrasal verb)

●To make something more interesting or enjoyable; to improve the situation that someone or something is in.(提升,提高)

Examples:  

1.Nothing - not even the prospect of dinner - could lift up his spirits.  

2.The article is informative enough, but it's a little dull - we need something to lift it up.

Be no stranger to sth (idiom)

●Thoroughly experienced in or knowledgeable about something.(對…不陌生)

Examples:  

1.Don't worry, I'm no stranger to spicy food.  

2.He is no stranger to hard work.

Commit oneself to sth (idiom)

●To promise to support and assist something.

  (獻身於,致力於)

Examples:  

1.I can't commit myself to your cause at the present time. Maybe next month when I am less busy.  

2.She committed herself to being there on time.

Be/get bogged down (phrasal verb)

●To be/become stuck; prevented from making progress. (陷入泥淖,陷入困境)

Examples:  

1.Let's not get bogged down with individual complaints.  

2.Try not to get too bogged down in the details.
