Lofty (adj.)

●Of a noble or elevated nature.(崇高的,高尚的)

Examples:  

1.Lofty aims or principles deserve to be admired because they are based on high moral standards.  

2.Few people can meet his lofty standards.

Drive sth home (idiom)

●To make something clearly understood; to make a point.(講透徹,使人理解)

Examples:  

1.The network news programs drive home the fact that violence is part of urban life.  

2.The teacher repeated the point three times just to drive it home.

Know no bounds (idiom)

●To be without limit or restriction.(無限,無可限量)

Examples:  

1.It's fascinating watching our kids play. Their imaginations know no bounds! Her desire to win knows no bounds.  

2.Their courage knows no bounds.

Not to mention (idiom)

●Used for adding a comment that emphasises the main idea of what you have already said.

(更何況,不必提)

Examples:  

1.The weather here is gorgeous, not to mention the wonderful food.  

2.He's one of the kindest and most intelligent, not to mention handsome, men I know.

Commensurate (adj.)

●In a correct and suitable amount compared to something else.(與…相稱,相當)

Examples:  

1.Salary will be commensurate with age and experience.  

2.Many people may not find the rewards commensurate with the time and effort required.
