This strongest voice and most important achievement come from history, come from the people, come from the communists who have the lofty ideal, strong faith and heavy commitment.　　No matter how high a status a person may have, no matter how powerful a person may be, it is just for him or her to better realise the ideal and goal of making the nation prosperous and strong and enabling the people to live happy lives.　　This is exactly what General Secretary Xi Jinping said at the press conference yesterday: "The people's desire for a better life is the goal we strive to realize."

　　As a matter of fact, in past several hundred years and an even longer period of time in history, China has never had an era that belongs to itself, nor has there ever been a new era for China in the world.

　　The pronouncement of China's new era is historic with monumental significance.　　With the founding of new China in 1949, China's new era began to greet the first signs of the dawn; with the start of reform and opening up in 1978, China's new era became much more hopeful; but it is not until today under the great banner of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics that China's new era truly has a clear blueprint and orientation and the whole nation's determination, confidence and morale are truly aroused with powerful persuasion, which attracts worldwide attention.

　　The pronouncement of China's new era is sonorous and forceful to drive it home, and it has enormous potential that knows no bounds."New era" is a phrase that cannot be announced lightly before the world.　　Today, there are few countries which dare to talk about their own new eras, not to mention that no other country or political party has strong enough self-confidence to realise its own "new era".　　But a socialist China dare and can.　　This is because in China there is the Communist Party of China (CPC) and there is the strong and firm leadership of a new CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping as the core which provides the greatest driving force and fundamental guarantee for China to start a new march and enter a new era.

In his speech yesterday, General Secretary Xi Jinping announced, loud and clear, that the Communist Party of China fights for the eternal wellbeing of the Chinese nation, and as the world's largest political party, the Communist Party of China must behave in a way commensurate with this status.　　Practice convincingly proves that the Communist Party of China can lead the people to undertake a great social revolution and can also undertake a great self-revolution.　　We must always remain vigorous and vibrant and always act as public servants to the people, vanguard of the times and backbone of the nation, so as to rally the boundless power of whole society to push forward China's development and progress with the strong strength of the whole party.
