  Suspense (noun)

  ●The feeling of excitement or nervousness that one has when one is waiting for something to happen and is uncertain about what it is going to be.(懸念,狐疑)

  Examples:

  1.There is a gradual build-up of suspense throughout the story, until it comes to an unexpected ending.  

  2.The suspense is killing me.

  Bargain hunting (noun)

  ●Looking for cheap goods or shares, overlooked by others.(買便宜貨)

  Examples:

  1.The silver lining to all this is that it's a very good time to be bargain hunting.  

  2.But you could do high throwing and bargain hunting on individual stocks.

  On tenterhooks (idiom)

  ●In a state of painful suspense; nervously waiting to find out what is going to happen.(提心吊膽)

  Examples:

  1.We were kept on tenterhooks all morning waiting for his decision.  

  2.We were on tenterhooks all through the game, hoping against hope that our team would win.

  Give a boost to sb/sth (idiom)

  ●To help someone feel more positive or confident; to stimulate something.(激勵,刺激)

  Examples:

  1.How can we give a boost to the economy?  

  2.Winning that award will give her a boost. It will encourage her.

  Replenishment (noun)

  ●From verb replenish: to fill something up again.

(再補足,再裝滿)

  Examples:

  1.Does your glass need replenishing?  

  2.Three hundred thousand tons of cereals are needed to replenish stocks.
