Look around (phrasal verb)

●To visit a place and look at the things in it.

  (觀光,四處看看)

Examples:

1.She spent the afternoon looking around the town.

2.When we went to Boston, we only had a couple of hours to look around.

Exploit (verb)

●To use something in a way that helps you.

(利用, 有效地使用)

Examples:

1.We need to make sure that we exploit our resources as fully as possible.  

2.The increased globalisation of the commodity trading business is something we must exploit.

Incumbent (adj.)

●(Of an official or regime) currently holding office.

(現任,在任的)

Examples:

1.It is difficult to defeat an incumbent governor.  

2.The incumbent president faces problems which began many years before he took office.

Not give/care a damn (idiom)

●To be not interested in someone or something.

(不在乎,不關心)

Examples:

1.I don't give a damn what he thinks of me!  

2.The beginning was so boring, I really didn't give a damn what happened in the rest of the movie.

In one's heart of hearts (idiom)

●In your most secret and true thoughts.

(內心深處,真實想法)

Examples:  

1.It's a wonderful job offer, but in my heart of hearts I don't want to leave this area.  

2.I didn't want to believe it, but in my heart of hearts I knew that it was true.
