Accuse sb of sth (phrasal verb)

●To charge someone with a crime, a violation of rules or instructions, or doing something wrong.

(責備,控告)

Examples:  

1.Please don't accuse me of forgetting to lock the door.  

2.Are you accusing me of lying?

Out of place (idiom)

●Inappropriate;  awkward and unwelcome.

(不適當的,不得其所的)

Examples:  

1.This joke is rather out of place.  

2.That kind of behavior is out of place at a party.

With your nose in the air (idiom)

●With an attitude that shows that you think you are better than other people.(自以為是,目空一切)

Examples:

1.He walks around with his nose in the air and doesn't talk to anyone.

2.She walked past me with her nose in the air.

Epitomise (verb)

●To be a perfect example of a quality or type of thing. (是…的典型/縮影)

Examples:

1.With little equipment and unsuitable footwear, she epitomises the and unprepared mountain walker.  

2.The company epitomised the problems faced by British industry'.

Take pleasure in sth/doing sth (idiom)

●Derive happiness or enjoyment from something or doing something.(以…為樂事,樂在其中)

Examples:  

1.They take a perverse pleasure in causing trouble.  

2.We bought an old barn and took great pleasure in rebuilding it.
