這陣子，在網上搜尋'snatch'，得出的首十個結果都跟搶奪手機有關。撰文之時，因搶保安局一女職員手機的議員被警方拘捕。'Hong Kong lawmaker arrested for snatching woman's phone'。'snatch'於上文有搶走，搶奪的意思。議員其後獲得保釋。

　　有報章以'Hong Kong lawmaker arrested over phone-snatching saga'為報道文章的標題。

　　上月中於元朗有人試圖搶一名內地人士的帆布背包，最終被遞捕'A man was arrested after he tried to snatch a mainland Chinese's rucksack in Yuen Long.'。

　　除了搶奪外，其實'snatch'有多個意思。其中一個指奪得，當中並沒有搶的含義。

　　筆者不太懂欖球賽，但知道較早前於香港舉行了七人欖球賽，斐濟繼贏得溫哥華站冠軍，也於香港站奪冠。上月底再下一城，於新加坡七人欖球賽中擊敗澳洲奪得冠軍'Fiji overcome Australia to snatch the Singapore Sevens'。

　　上月中舉行的香港電影金像獎頒獎禮中，電影《追龍》和《黃金花》各奪兩獎'"Chasing the Dragon" and "Tomorrow is Another Day" snatched two awards each.'。

　　筆者正密切留意搶手機事件的發展。
