Permeate sth with sth (phrasal verb)

●To saturate something with something.

  (瀰漫,充滿)

Examples:  

1.The air is permeated with roasted garlic.  

2.The comedian permeated his act with smutty jokes.

Clamor for sth (phrasal verb)

●To raise a great outcry for something.

  ((為得到某事物而)叫嚷、喧嘩)

Examples:  

1.The audience clamored for an encore.  

2.The children were clamoring for ice cream.

Be at odds (with) (idiom)

●To be in conflict (with).(與……衝突,大相逕庭)

Examples:  

1.They are at odds over the best way to lead the committee.   2.Our fact-checker found that the witness's story was completely at odds with what the reporter had written.

Go astray (idiom)

●To wander off the right path or subject; to wander into evil or error.(誤入歧途,走上邪路)

Examples:  

1.I'm afraid your son has gone astray and gotten into a bit of trouble.  

2. The gang members led him astray, and he ended up in jail.

Aspire to sth/to do sth (phrasal verb)

●To have a strong wish or hope to do or have something.(追求,渴望)

Examples:  

1.I aspire to be a successful businesswoman like my sister one day.  

2.Few people who aspire to fame ever achieve it.
