Swarm in(to something) (phrasal verb)

●To crowd into something or some place.

  (蜂擁而來)

Examples:  

1.People were swarming into the auditorium to hear the guitarist.

2.They swarmed in and ran for the best seats.

Notch sth up (phrasal verb)

●To win something; to achieve something.

(創下,取得)

Examples:  

1.The company notched up over £10 million in profits last year.  

2.She has recently notched up her third win at a major ski event.

Envelop sb/sth in sb/sth (phrasal verb)

●To wrap someone or something in someone or something.(瀰漫,包圍)

Examples:  

1.My eyes snap open, yet I'm still enveloped in darkness.  

2.Mountains of fog rolled in and enveloped the house in dense vapor.

Sell like hot cakes (idiom)

●To be bought quickly and in large numbers.

(熱銷)

Examples:  

1.The new game is apparently selling like hot cakes.  

2.The fancy new cars were selling like hotcakes.

Counter-cyclical measures

●經濟學術語,即逆周期或反周期措施,指一些具前瞻性、與經濟趨勢反方向而行的措施。例如預計經濟會出現困難時,政府會推出一些刺激經濟和紓緩民生的措施。又如,在樓市亢奮時,收緊按揭以防止出現泡沫與金融風險,亦是一項逆周期措施。
