　　155個國家、地區以及國際組織參與，4108家境外企業參展，整體展覽面積超過43萬平方米，參展商包括290家世界500強和行業龍頭企業……昨日在上海開幕的第八屆中國國際進口博覽會盛況空前，成為近距離觀察中國超大市場規模和高水平對外開放的窗口，展現了中國與世界共享機遇、共謀發展的大國擔當，也為香港發揮「內聯外通」獨特優勢提供了重要平台。

　　國務院總理李強出席第八屆進博會開幕式並發表主旨演講。李強指出，進博會是世界經濟通向中國經濟的入海口，也是中國聯結世界的重要橋樑，今年進博會的參展企業再創歷史新高，充分彰顯中國超大規模市場的蓬勃生機和活力。李強還表示，中共二十屆四中全會審議通過的「十五五」規劃建議，為中國經濟社會注入發展及開放的確定性，中國經濟規模在5年後，有望達到170萬億元人民幣。

　　中國已連續多年保持全球第一大貨物貿易國的地位，是全球130多個國家的主要貿易夥伴。任何有國際視野和長遠眼光的企業，都不能不重視中國市場。上海進博會作為國際公共產品，成為全球品牌連接中國市場的快速通道。前七屆進博會累計發布的新產品、新技術、新服務約3000項，意向成交額超過5000億美元，充分展現了中國超大市場的磁吸力。

　　今年香港在進博會的參展企業達380家，為歷年之冠，是香港加快融入和服務國家發展大局的生動體現。行政長官李家超出席了進博會虹橋國際經濟論壇開幕式，今日將在「香港：內地企業出海首選平台」推介大會上推廣香港的優勢和機遇。在陪同李強總理巡視中國館香港展區時，匯報了香港近年在各領域的重要國際排名和優勢，包括繼續被評為全球最自由經濟體、競爭力全球排名第三位、全球金融中心排名第三位、五所大學躋身世界百強，以及全球最受歡迎仲裁地第二位等。事實證明，在中央大力支持下，特區治理水平不斷提高，高質量發展持續推進，民生福祉不斷改善。

　　進博會香港展區以「內聯外通．璀璨新篇」為題，精準展現了「一國兩制」賦予香港「內聯外通」的獨特定位。事實上，隨着越來越多國際企業「走進來」，越來越多內地企業「走出去」，香港作為「雙向平台」的功能更顯突出，香港高質量發展動能更加強勁。

　　CIIE is a Grand Stage for Telling H.K. Stories Well

　　The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE)  commenced in Shanghai with unprecedented scale and participation. Representing 155 countries, regions, and international organizations, more than 4000 overseas enterprises showcased their products and innovations across a sprawling exhibition area of 430000 square meters, including 290 Fortune Global 500 corporations and industry leaders.

　　The Expo has evolved into a strategic platform for observing China's colossal market and its commitment to high-level openness. It embodies China's determination to  share opportunities and pursue mutual prosperity, while simultaneously offering Hong Kong an invaluable stage to amplify its role as a  conduit between the Mainland and the world.

　　Premier Li Qiang  underscored in his keynote address that the CIIE serves as "a gateway linking the global economy with China's growth engine". He emphasized that the record participation reflects the  resilience and dynamism  of China's market. The newly approved "15th Five-Year Plan"  is expected to inject further certainty into China's long-term trajectory, with the economy projected to surpass  RMB 170 trillion  within five years.

　　China has maintained its position as the  world's largest trading nation  and a key partner for over 130 countries. For any enterprise with a global outlook,  disregarding the Chinese market would be a strategic oversight. As a global public good, the Expo provides an unparalleled gateway for international brands to engage directly with China's ever-expanding consumer base. Over the past seven editions, the CIIE has introduced around  3000 new products, technologies, and services, with intended deals exceeding  US$500 billion—a testament to China's magnetic market allure.

　　This year,  Hong Kong's delegation reached a record 380 exhibitors, marking its strongest presence yet. This participation illustrates the city's deepening  integration into the national development blueprint. Chief Executive  John Lee  Ka-chiu attended the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, where he promoted Hong Kong's strategic advantages under the theme  "The Hong Kong—The Ideal Platform for Mainland Enterprises in Going Global Promotion Conference". 

　　During Premier Li Qiang visit to the Hong Kong exhibition area, John Lee presented the city's remarkable global rankings—being the  world's freest economy, the  third most competitive economy, and among the  top three international financial centres. These accomplishments under score how, with robust support from the Central Government, Hong Kong has  enhanced governance, sustained high-quality growth, and improved the people's well-being.

　　The Hong Kong exhibition area's at the CIIE, theme "A Brilliant New Chapter of Connectivity between the Mainland and the World" encapsulates the  synergistic essence of "One Country, Two Systems".  As more international corporations establish a foothold in China and more Mainland firms expand abroad, Hong Kong's  dual role as a two-way gateway  has grown increasingly pivotal—empowering the city to open new chapters of innovation, resilience, and global relevance.
