•Ray of hope (Idiom) - A minute indication that something may improve, succeed, or turn out for the best in the end.(一線希望)

Examples:

1.This new medicine is a ray of hope for thousands of people.  

2.There is still a ray of hope that he is alive.

•Hand in glove (idiom) - Very closely associated with somebody, usually in something dishonest.(勾結,沆瀣一氣)

Examples:

1.Far from being independent, the government and media work hand in glove.  

2.Many of the city's politicians are hand in glove with smugglers.

•Stick it out (idiom) - to carry on or endure something until it is ended.(堅持到底,忍受下去)

Examples:

1.He hates the job but he's determined to stick it out because he needs the money.  

2.She'll look like a loser if she doesn't stick it out.

•Go from bad to worse (idiom) - To become even more unpleasant, unacceptable or difficult.(愈來愈糟,每況愈下)

Examples:

1.The schools have gone from bad to worse in this area.  

2.For the past couple of years my life has gone from bad to worse.

•Go to any length(s) (idiom) - To make a great or extreme effort to do something.(竭盡所能,全力以赴)

Examples:

1.They would both go to any length to win.  

2.He'll go to any lengths to get what he wants.
